The Al Qasimia University scholarship program is an extensive, fully funded initiative strictly limited to international students admitted to the university from outside the United Arab Emirates. It is designed to attract high-achieving global talent to pursue Bachelor's and Master's degrees across disciplines such as Sharia, Arts, Economics, and Communication. The university provides an all-encompassing financial package, which covers full tuition, monthly living stipends, health insurance, and accommodation, ensuring scholars are fully supported throughout their academic journey in Sharjah.

Eligibility
The scholarship program is limited to international students admitted to the university from outside the UAE only
Undergraduate applicants must be at least 16 years old and no older than 20 at the time of application
No more than two years may have passed since the undergraduate applicant earned their high school certificate
The student must not have been previously dismissed from Al Qasimia University or any other academic institution
Master's applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.0 out of 4.0, or its equivalent
Master's applicants holding a bachelor's degree awarded outside the UAE must obtain official degree equivalency from the competent authority in the UAE
Master's scholarship recipients must be fully dedicated to full-time study and must undertake duties as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the university
Requirements
International students who are non-native speakers of Arabic must take an Arabic language placement test
Passing grade of C or higher in the Intensive Arabic Program is required for non-native speakers to enter degree programs
Bachelor of Arts in Economics requires a valid academic IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent
Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication requires a valid academic IELTS score of 4.5 or equivalent
Master's applicants must submit two academic recommendation letters from faculty members
Successful completion of a personal interview is mandatory for all colleges
Required Documents
Original high school certificate and original transcripts for grades 10, 11, and 12 (for Bachelor's applicants)
Attested bachelor's degree certificate and official academic transcript (for Master's applicants)
Attestation of all certificates by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE Embassy
Legal translation of foreign certificates into Arabic or English, attested by proper authorities
Legal Arabic translation of the passport, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE Embassy
Copy of a valid passport with a minimum validity of two years
Twelve recent colored personal photographs (3x4 cm) with a white background
Criminal record certificate (Police Clearance) legally translated into Arabic and English
Medical fitness certificate issued by a government hospital within the last three months confirming the applicant is free from infectious diseases
Copy of birth certificate with legal translation if not in Arabic or English

Application Process
Complete the online admission application through the official university portal
Ensure all fields marked with an asterisk are filled, as incomplete applications are not considered
Upload clear, colored scanned copies of all required documents in JPG format
Submit Form 1 and Form 2 strictly in PDF format as required by the system
Verify that all certificates have been properly attested by the UAE Embassy before final submission
How to Apply
The university does not bear any responsibility towards the beneficiary if they marry during their period of study
Students who do not show up on time after the issuance of the entry permit will have their visa cancelled
Applicants must list their preferred colleges in order of priority on the application form
Selection Process
Admission is based on the capacity of each college and the number of available seats
For undergraduates, priority is given to applicants with the highest grades, followed by more recent graduates, and then younger applicants
For Master's degrees, admission is competitive and based on ranking among all applicants, not determined by the time of submission
Final admission depends on university policy and the successful completion of the personal interview
