The Presidential Scholarship is Clark University's most prestigious undergraduate award. It is a fully funded scholarship granted to approximately five students each year who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and leadership potential. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition as well as on-campus housing and meals for all four years of study, regardless of a family's financial need.

Eligibility
Must be a first-year applicant (freshman) to Clark University.
Must demonstrate an academic record that places them at the very top of Clark's applicant pool.
Must show strong leadership potential and a commitment to global change.
Must be admitted to the university via Early Decision, Early Action, or Regular Decision.
Open to both domestic and international students.
Requirements
Submit a complete Common Application or Coalition Application for admission.
Maintain a high GPA and strong academic standing in high school.
Provide letters of recommendation (one counselor, one teacher).
Submit official high school transcripts.
Demonstrate English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo) if English is not the first language.

Application Process
1. Apply for admission to Clark University using the Common App or Coalition App.
2. No separate initial scholarship application is required; all applicants are automatically considered based on their admissions application.
3. Submit your admission application by the November 1 (Early Action/Decision I) or January 15 (Regular Decision/Early Decision II) deadline.
4. The Admissions Committee identifies top candidates as finalists.
5. Finalists will be contacted (typically in Feb/March) and invited to interview for the scholarship.
6. Winners are notified shortly after the interview stage.
How to Apply
Simply apply for undergraduate admission to Clark University by the January 15 Regular Decision deadline (or earlier). There is no separate button or form to apply for the Presidential Scholarship initially; your admission application serves as your scholarship application. If selected as a finalist, you will be contacted for an interview.
Selection Process

Selection of a small group of finalists (approx. 15-20).
Finalists are invited for an interview with the scholarship committee.
Selection of approximately 5 recipients based on interview performance and application strength.
