The AGYLE (African-German Young Leaders in Business) programme is an international leadership and exchange initiative that connects young professionals and entrepreneurs from selected African countries with their counterparts in Germany and Austria. Implemented by 'Germany – Land of Ideas' and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the 2026 programme focuses on the theme 'GreenTech for Impact – Young Leaders Shaping Climate-Smart Economies'. It brings together 40 outstanding young leaders to develop innovative solutions in fields like renewable energy and sustainable mobility, featuring a fully funded AGYLE Live Week in Berlin, digital sessions, and long-term alumni networking.

Eligibility
Must be 40 years of age or younger at the time of application
Must have at least three years of executive or leadership experience, or have founded your own company
Must come from or have worked for at least five years in one of the eligible countries: Austria, Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, or Tunisia
Must be actively developing innovative solutions in key GreenTech fields, combining environmental impact with economic scalability
Must be highly committed to creating a sustainable future and actively shaping the African-European economic dialogue
Requirements
Submission of a complete online application through the AGYLE portal before the April 1, 2026 deadline
Commitment to actively participate in the AGYLE Live Week in Berlin (September 14-18, 2026) and subsequent digital events
Willingness to become an active, long-term contributor to the AGYLE Alumni Network
