Eligibility
Must be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport
Friendly to China and in good physical and mental health
Undergraduate applicants: High school diploma and under 25 years old
Master's applicants: Bachelor's degree and under 30 years old
Doctoral applicants: Master's degree and under 35 years old
General scholar applicants: Under 40 years old
Advanced scholar applicants: Master's degree or above with associate professor title and under 50 years old
Requirements
Strong academic record and consistent good conduct
Not receiving any other Chinese government scholarship concurrently
Proficiency in Chinese (HSK) for Chinese-taught programs
Proficiency in English (TOEFL/IELTS) for English-taught programs
Must meet the specific admission criteria of the host university in Hubei
