Eligibility
Must possess citizenship status from a priority state
Must be officially nominated by the Government of the Priority State
Must be willing to return and serve in the home country for a minimum of 2 years after completing the study
Must not be registered as an active military member or scheduled for mandatory military service until the end of the academic period
Preferably possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a government employee in their country
Maximum age limits apply: 25 years old for Diploma, 30 years old for Bachelor's, and 42 years old for Master's programs as of July 31
For unmarried applicants, willingness to remain unmarried during the TIAS Program is required
Must be physically and mentally healthy, as evidenced by a health certificate
Must hold an active passport with a minimum validity of 18 months from the registration date
Requirements
Submission of an official recommendation or nomination letter from an authorized institution in the government of the origin country
Proof of English proficiency, such as a TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 477 or IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5, for applicants from non-English speaking countries
Submission of a letter or document confirming good conduct and a clear criminal record from relevant local authorities

Visit the official TIAS online application portal at tias.kemenkeu.go.id
Create an account, complete your profile, and fill out the online application form
Upload all required documents, including legalized academic certificates and language scores
Submit the online application strictly before the April 17, 2026 deadline
How to Apply
Academic certificates and transcripts must be officially attested and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and/or Ministry of Education in your home country prior to submission
Applicants aiming for Kelas Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language classes) must still demonstrate baseline English fluency
Ensure you thoroughly review the TIAS Booklet for specific age and degree requirements as they strictly vary by the level of study
Selection Process
Administrative Selection is conducted by the Indonesian Embassy and related ministries between April and May 2026
Academic Selection, which includes a desk study and potential psychological evaluations, takes place in May 2026
Final results for the successful scholars will be announced on June 30, 2026
Selected candidates will coordinate for their arrival in Indonesia between August 20 and 31, 2026
