This PhD project investigates the synthesis of novel mixed anion thin films for transparent conductor applications, aiming to replace indium-dependent materials. The project utilizes techniques such as aerosol-assisted chemical vapour deposition and includes characterisation via NMR, XRD, SEM, and EDX. It offers a unique opportunity to work with industrial partner Pilkington NSG, exploring the translation of methodology to large-scale coaters. Students will gain expertise in inorganic synthesis, thin film deposition, and materials characterisation.
