Fully Funded Scholarship in High-Power Laser Mirrors at the University of Southampton

This fully funded PhD project focuses on the development of crystalline dielectric mirrors for high-power lasers, a critical technology for future energy transfer, plasma physics, and materials science applications. The project utilizes Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) to create advanced materials for next-generation optical components. Students will be part of the Energy Transfer Technologies Doctoral Training Hub, gaining access to industrial collaborations, comprehensive training, and a vibrant research cohort.
