The Graduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS) is established by the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) to attract top-tier global talent. This scholarship is funded by the Sirindhorn Technology Scholarship Fund and aims to produce high-quality researchers who can contribute to the global scientific community.
Recipients will study at the Rangsit or Bangkadi campuses of Thammasat University, benefiting from state-of-the-art research facilities and a multicultural academic environment. The program is specifically designed for students with exceptional academic records who are committed to conducting advanced research in various engineering and technological disciplines.
Benefits
Full tuition and educational support fees (full thesis support)
Monthly living allowance (10,000 THB for Master's / 15,000 THB for PhD)
Round-trip economy airfare (up to 20,000 THB)
Visa fee and airport taxes (up to 10,000 THB)
Health and accident insurance during the scholarship period
Eligibility
Must not be of Thai nationality
Excellent academic record (preferably in the top 20 percent of the class)
Good health and good conduct
Must meet all SIIT graduate program admission requirements
Must not be a concurrent recipient of another full scholarship
Requirements
Minimum GPA of 2.75 for Master's applicants or 3.50 for Doctoral applicants
Strong research interest and potential
Two letters of recommendation (academic references)
Statement of Purpose (Research Interest)
English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) is encouraged but not mandatory for initial application
