Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Mas Said Surakarta officially opens its International Student Admission for the August 2026 intake. The university provides two tiers of financial support: a highly competitive Full Scholarship and a Partial Scholarship with more available seats. Eligibility
Must be a non-Indonesian citizen
Bachelor's degree applicants must strictly be under 23 years of age
Must not hold refugee status
Must have no record of serious criminal convictions
Must demonstrate proficiency in English, Arabic, or another relevant foreign language
Must commit to complying with all applicable Indonesian laws and university regulations throughout the study period
Requirements
Submission of a valid English or Arabic language proficiency certificate (such as TOEFL, TOAFL, or equivalent)
Successful completion of the university's administrative screening, computer-based test, and final faculty interview
Submission of specific university-templated documents, including the Financial Statement and Personal Statement to Obey Indonesian Rules

Recent formal photo (JPG/PNG format, maximum 300 KB)
Color scan of a valid passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining (including the cover page and identity page)
Graduation certificate and academic transcript translated into English or Indonesian
Curriculum Vitae using the official UIN Surakarta template
Financial Statement using the official UIN Surakarta template
Personal Statement to Obey Indonesian Rules using the official UIN Surakarta template
English, Arabic, or any foreign language proficiency certificate
Formal recommendation letter from the applicant's previous school or institution

Register at the UIN Surakarta International Admission Portal between 10 January and 30 April 2026
Fill in all required personal details and securely upload the mandated documents in their requested formats
Wait for the Administrative Screening results, which will be processed from 1 to 7 May 2026
If shortlisted, participate in the Computer-Based Test scheduled between 12 and 13 May 2026
Pass the Final Interview conducted by the faculty from 18 to 20 May 2026

Selection Process
