PhD Studentship: Quantum Technologies for GNSS-denied Navigation

This PhD project, titled 'Quantum Technologies for GNSS-denied navigation: a Quantum Inertial Navigation Sensor Simulator', aims to address the vulnerability of satellite navigation (GPS/GNSS) by developing quantum alternatives. The student will build a simulator around experimentally validated computational models to provide real-time data for quantum inertial sensors. This allows navigation engineers to explore quantum integration before the physical devices are fully available. The project is part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Quantum Technology Engineering.
