The Radboud Scholarship Programme offers a selected number of talented prospective non-EEA students the opportunity to receive a scholarship to pursue a complete English-taught Master's degree programme at Radboud University. The scholarship is not a full fellowship; it significantly reduces the tuition fee and covers health/liability insurance and visa costs, but students must cover their own living expenses.
Benefits
Tuition fee reduced to the statutory fee level (approx. €2,695 instead of the institutional fee of ~€16,000–€18,000).
Coverage of costs for visa and residence permit.
Coverage of health insurance and liability insurance (via Aon Student Insurance).
Note: This scholarship does NOT cover living costs.
Eligibility
Must hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
Must not be eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons.
Must have (or will obtain) a Bachelor's degree achieved outside the Netherlands.
Must have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and no previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programmes excluded).
Must meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Master's programme.
Must have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master's degree programme starting 1 September 2026 as stated in the formal letter of admission.
Must be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands.
Requirements
Complete the admission application in the OSIRIS system.
Select the Radboud Scholarship option during the application.
Submit a specific motivation letter for the scholarship.
Provide two reference letters (academic).
Submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Upload official transcripts and degree certificates.

All English-taught Master's programmes within the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Nijmegen School of Management, Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Social Sciences (excluding Erasmus Mundus and joint degrees).
Application Process
1. Choose an eligible English-taught Master's programme at Radboud University.
2. Apply for admission via the OSIRIS Application system.
3. During the application, indicate that you wish to apply for the Radboud Scholarship.
4. Upload the requested additional documents (motivation letter, references, CV) specifically for the scholarship.
5. Submit the admission application by 31 January 2026.
6. Ensure the application is complete (all documents in) by 14 February 2026.
How to Apply
Navigate to the OSIRIS Application portal via the specific Master's program page on the Radboud University website.
Start the application for admission.
When asked if you want to apply for a scholarship, select 'Radboud Scholarship'.
Upload the required scholarship documents (CV, references, motivation).
Finalize the submission before the January 31st deadline.
Selection Process
Assessment of academic excellence (grades, test scores, publications).
Evaluation of ambition and motivation (quality of motivation letter).
Review of references (quality of recommendations).
Assessment of the relevance of the previous degree to the chosen Master's programme.
Final decisions are announced around mid-April 2026.
