The Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals (SISGP) is a competitive fully-funded scholarship programme aimed at developing future global leaders. It supports full-time one-year or two-year master's studies at Swedish universities. The scholarship is designed for professionals with work and leadership experience who want to contribute to the sustainable development of their home countries.
Benefits
Full tuition fee coverage (paid directly to the university).
Monthly allowance of SEK 12,000 for living expenses.
Travel grant of SEK 15,000 (SEK 10,000 for scholars from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine).
Insurance against illness and accident.
Membership in the SI Network for Global Professionals (NFGP).
Eligibility
Must be a citizen of one of the 34 eligible countries.
Must be liable to pay tuition fees to Swedish universities.
Must have applied for a master's programme eligible for the SI scholarship.
Must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of demonstrated work experience.
Must have demonstrated leadership experience from current or previous employment or civil society engagement.
Must be admitted (or conditionally admitted) to an eligible master's programme by the university admission announcement date.

Use of specific SI templates for CV and proof of work/leadership experience.
Proof of at least 3,000 hours of work experience.
Two letters of reference using the SI template.
Valid passport or National ID card.

Application Process
1. Apply for a Master's programme at UniversityAdmissions.se between 16 Oct 2025 and 15 Jan 2026.
2. Receive a personal application number from University Admissions.
3. Apply for the SI Scholarship via the SI application portal between 9 Feb 2026 and 25 Feb 2026.
4. Upload all required documents using the official SI templates.
5. Wait for the university admission results (26 Mar 2026) and scholarship announcement (23 Apr 2026).
