The Master Mind Scholarship is a scholarship programme funded by the Government of Flanders to promote Flemish higher education. It awards outstanding international students a grant of €10,020 and a tuition fee waiver (paying only a minimal administrative fee) per academic year. Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) selects and nominates top candidates to the Flemish Government for this award.

Eligibility
Must apply for and be accepted into a Master's programme at VUB.
Must have a high standard of academic performance (GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0).
Must meet high English language proficiency standards (IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 94, or C1 Advanced 185).
Must not have previously obtained a degree from a Flemish higher education institution.
Must not be combining this with other Flemish government scholarships or Erasmus Mundus.
Requirements
Secure an official letter of acceptance from VUB before applying for the scholarship.

Submit a specific motivation letter addressed to the Master Mind selection jury.

Application Process
1. Apply for admission to a Master's programme at VUB via the university's application portal.
2. Receive your official Letter of Acceptance from the VUB Education and Student Administration Office.
3. Once accepted, complete the separate Master Mind Scholarship application form online.
4. Upload all required documents, including the specific motivation letter and GPA calculation.
5. Submit the scholarship application by 26 March 2026 (23:59 GMT+1).
